Destination: Delhi- Nagpur-Kanha-Nagpur-Mumbai.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport,transfer to hotel.
New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. New Delhi also marks the division in the life-styles and the division in the walled city.
Visit QutubMinar, the tallest stone tower in India and Humayum Tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden- tomb on the Indian subcontinent.
Later drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the RastrapathiBhawan, the President’s residence. Later visit to Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi; drive past the Red Fort. The magnificent Red Fort, overlooking the river Jamuna was built during the years 1638- 48 when the Mughul Empire was at its peak. The tour continues to Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques and which is viewed from the outside. Enjoy the rickshaw ride at Old Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi – Nagpur-Kanha National Park

After breakfast transfer to the airport to board a flight to Nagpur. Upon arrival, drive to Kanha national park, home to a large population of tigers and barasingha that is swamp deer. On reaching Kanha National Park, relax in resort and enjoy wilderness or rural life style spread around resort. One can also do bird watching in & around resort compound. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Kanha

Experience both morning & afternoon safari drives. Wake-up early in the morning (before sunrise) to get ready for safari drive at Kanha Tiger Reserve in company of experienced park guides and try to witness tiger in wilderness. In addition to tigers there is lot more to see in Kanha safari like rare Swamp Deers, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Indian Gaur, hulmans, golden jackal, Wild Dog, sloth bears, and shy Leopards , brown fish owl, changeable hawk-eagle etc.

Day 4: Kanha -Nagpur -Mumbai

Transfer to the Nagpur airport to board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Mumbai Fort the area north of Colaba, since the old British fort was once located here. There are lots of impressive buildings from Mumbai’s golden period . St. John’s church, dedicated to the soldiers, who laid down their lives in the Sindh campaign of 1838, and the first Afghan war of 1843, is also worth a visit.
Marine Drive is Mumbai’s most famous thoroughfare. It is also referred to as the Queen’s Necklace because of the dramatic line of street lamps lit up at night.
Gateway of India is Mumbai’s principal landmark, and is a huge archway on the water’s edge at Apollo Bunder.
Chowpatty beach situated at the end of Marine Drive has a moderate expanse of sand and is the only beach in the central part of Mumbai. One can witnesses many Hindu religious ceremonies taking place. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Mumbai

Transfer to the airport or the railway station to board a flight or train for your onward destination.
